Combined, the ownership group has played over 60 years of NHL hockey and have coached all the way from minor hockey to the professional levels. Top Flight Hockey Schools
The program focuses upon skating and hockey skill development. The program teaches and emphasizes proper technique, form, speed and skill as they apply to the game of hockey. The camp will provide and implement a positive and productive learning environment for the students to gain maximum benefits. Too many times skills are taught by demonstrating the end result. When students fall short of achieving them they do not know why. There are basic building blocks to learning all skills. Edge of Excellence
At the Edge of Excellence Hockey Camps, our entire program is specifically directed at improving skaters in all of these areas. Players are also educated on ways that they can, prior to attending the camp (through our off-ice training program) and following the camp, continue to make further gains and reinforce changes in these areas. We limit each group on the ice to 30 players with 4 to 6 instructors on the ice. The ratio of player to instructor is, therefore, approximately seven to one. Kelowna, Winnipeg.
